Artisan Grains Greenwheat Freekeh
Artisan Grains Greenwheat Freekeh is a highly nutritious grain made from young wheat that is harvested at its nutritional peak. The grains are lightly toasted and cracked, resulting in a delicious and wholesome product. Freekeh has a nutty taste and a satisfying texture, making it a flavorful alternative to rice, couscous, and bulgur wheat. It offers several health benefits, including being low on the glycemic index and having a low insulin response, making it suitable for diabetics. It is also high in fiber, providing up to four times more fiber than brown rice. Additionally, it is rich in protein, containing approximately 60% more protein than rice. Freekeh is also higher in magnesium, potassium, calcium, and iron compared to rice and pasta. It is an all-natural grain that is free from chemicals and GMOs. Furthermore, it has prebiotic properties, promoting a healthy gut.
At Artisan Grains, we believe that natural foods are the foundation of a healthy lifestyle. Our natural grains, seeds, and pulses are not only versatile but also nutritious and delicious. We strive to revitalize the grains market by offering bright and attractive packaging, improving on-pack communication and education, and increasing the appeal of grains to both new and existing consumers. Whether cracked, crushed, rolled, extruded, or cooked, grains should retain the same rich balance of nutrients found in the original grain seed.
