Artisan Grains Quinoa

Artisan Grains Quinoa is a highly nutritious grain-like seed with a delicate nutty flavor when cooked. Pronounced "Keen-Wah," it is an excellent alternative to rice or couscous and is wheat-free. Quinoa contains all nine essential amino acids, making it a complete protein source. It is pre-washed and does not require rinsing, making it convenient to use. Quinoa is high in fiber, low in fat (contains no saturated fat), and quick to cook.

How to cook Quinoa (2 portions):

• Boil 600ml water in a medium saucepan.
• Add ½ pack (110g) Quinoa and simmer for 10-12 minutes uncovered until a white germ appears.
• Drain excess water and use hot, or allow to cool and use warm or cold.
