Vegetarian Certified deliciously runny Natural Health Pure Oak Honey is made by bees in the wild Oak woods of Greece. It is a deep, rich and dark honey, with a slight treacle aftertaste and an aroma that is powerful and distinctive. It is a honeydew honey and often called 'black honey' or 'acorn honey'.

The 'Oak' is one of the sacred trees of Ancient Greece, known as the 'tree of Jupiter' and forms rich forests throughout Greece. Our hives are kept in the oak forest of Foloi at the foot of Mount Erymanthos in Elias in the south-west of Greece, where the bees can collect the honey undisturbed, well away from habitation and pollution.

Vegetarian Society approved, this Greek Oak honey is pure, raw & unprocessed to retain the maximum amount of natural goodness and enzymes. Produced using sustainable organic beekeeping practices and standards, our honey is collected by bees in the wild areas of Greece, just as nature intended!
